I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about “HI ON CAMPUS” this past week.

So of course I HAD TO get the scoop on what it is & who is behind it. & OF COURSE I came through and now have all of the info to share with ya’ll!

KREEMO is an upcoming clothing line…and they’re presenting the event w/ a long list of dope sponsors too. I had the chance to do a brief interview w/ Desmond aka “Dezmilly” aka @KreemoKid for some extra event info. Peep it!

So, Kreemo is presenting this event...let the people know what Kreemo is.
Kreemo is a brand aimed for the youth that stands out in society. Those who typically attempt to do something different are viewed as a nuisance to society at first, but after they succeed they become influential. Kreemo is made for the people in society that choose to go the other route.

Well Kreemo sounds dope, but why should people attend this Hi On Campus event?
This event is not only one of the most different events in Atlanta, but it is exclusive. Not everyone will have access to it. We have major sponsorships and it will be held in a new boutique.

Cool, are there any special things or performances that will be going on at the party?
There will be performances by Kreemo artist Papa Jae and also by Alex Jacke. Also a group well known in Atlanta,Retro Sushi, will be performing .One of the members of Retro Sushi [Ceej] is the host of B$B.

Fashion Meets Fantasy!

If you know me personally[even if you only know my alias], you know how BIG of a fashion connoisseur I am. Any blog, article, show, I’m trying to learn about it.

My attendance at GSU has slightly limited my horizons when it comes to fashion but one organization that lowkey keeps me connected would have to be Infinite APPEAL…The ONLY fashion organization on campus it recognizes models and others who appreciate fashion.

They host a few shows every year and they are nothing short of impeccable. This SPRING, they have a show titled Fashion Meets Fantasy [which is this week]. OF course I’ll be in attendance supporting my fellow fashion junkies.

Well I'm a sophomore and I'm the Vice President of Infinite Appeal. I also am an intern at IFG Media. I model on the side, you can see some of my work on modelmayhem.com/mikeoo.

That’s cool bro, so tell me, What exactly is Infinite Appeal?

Infinite Appeal is community service based modeling and budding fashion organization that puts on a fashion show every semester.

Who can/should join, how can they join?

Anyone can join! We hold a model call at the beginning of each semester.

You guys always astonish the crowd with concepts for shows, What’s the concept of the fashion show?

This show is called "Fashion Meets Fantasy", it is VERY fairy tale inspired.

Are you in the show?

I will be working backstage for most of the show, but I will make a little appearance in it.

Cool, so What designers will be featured in the show?

Fli Pelican, Crushed Pearls, Urban Outfitters, Apogee', Icon, Tyrell Holmes and Many more hot brands and designers.

The event is free, but we are asking for a small donation at the door for Haiti.

“Mi llamo Sean Famoso originally from South Florida but i have been in Atlanta for 9 years... Ha ha. I actually did not start TM ... TM was actually a rival company when I was in high school. Me and Dj Incredible hated each other and competed in throwing high school parties. We ended up bumping into each other my freshmen year in college and everything fell into place from there. Dj incredible use to make me wait outside at his parties and i held back many time from kicking his knees in. We are friends now!

That’s cool as shit! How long have you been in the promotion business? since I was 17 through my 1st party with @fki1stdown and @MercedesRon and made 3700 dollars with 150 in expenses lol... I fell in love right then

What other projects are you apart of aside from throwing/ promoting events?

- We have a big hand in the Development of FKi and are focusing a lot of our efforts in making sure that they get to where they need to be as soon as possible and permanently. They deserve to be on top and thats where we plan on getting them.

- I am also an Intern at Muddy Water Music Group and Wondaland/Atlantic Records working on my A&R and Artist development skills

- Team Milli is actually in the process of finalizing our new booking agency and the site should be up real soon

- We are also putting together alot of different fundraising projects to give back to the same community that gave us so much. Shout out to alexis glenn for heading up that venture

So everyone has big shit going on for not only Team Milli but alot of the members in Team Mill.... CamTheFam with the help of his partners with his clothing line release.... Darian with his blog launch .... Alexis with her community service efforts..... Dj incredible also with the million things he has going on as well. We encourage anyone within our team to USE us to help get their dreams and passions out.... thats what we are here for.

Tell the people what they should expect at Tino’s?

A good time.... Tinos is our way of taking everyone out the club and just wanting everyone to just kick back and chill.... we like wednesdays because thats the time in the week where you could really use that break from school. We just love to see everyone come out to drink eat and chill, it is not always about the money to us.

Are the drinks expensive?

drinks i believe are 5 dollar and 3 dollars for beer but honestly just come find DJ incredible on a wednesday and he will buy u a drink and all 20 of your friends i PROMISE....

Atlanta Loves POPULAR Art & COI

If you live in Atlanta, and not under a rock, and you appreciate the art of tattooing or art in general then you have heard of City Of Ink. Nestled in Castleberry Hill Art District, COI is one of the top tattoo parlors/art galleries around, and my personal favorite.

On February 26th from 7pm-10pm City Of Ink will be the location of POPULAR. A Juried Art Exhibition. I had the great honor and opportunity to ask COI's Miya Bailey a few questions about the upcoming show! Check Out The Interview:

For those who may not know, what exactly is a "Juried Art Exhibition"?

There will be people judging the art work.... The winner will get art supples from Binders art supplies. But it's not about winning or losing we just want to inspire younger artists to step out the box and fit no stereotypes in art. The Atlanta art scene leaks what the art scene in San Fran, NY, & LA has...we want to inspire people and show them Atlanta do support fine art and art thats don't just the norm.. COI will cont' to give back using this tool we call "art"

Who are some of the artists that are already submitting work, and will you be entering anything yourself?

Yes I will have a few pieces in this event...Sophie is even entering this art show, Corey Davis & Tuki Carter of course and all the COI artists.... I seen some pieces from Goldi Gold the other day.... Fabian, Flux, Mr. Soul, new artists, veteran artists, college students, young & old... Everyone is welcomed to enter a City of Ink art show if the art is quality...we want to COI to be an introduction to new artists to the world.

I'm sure you've had a sneak peak at some of the artwork for the show, how does everthing look? Can we expect to see some amazing pieces?

Yes I seen some pieces that I want to buy for my personal collection.. There is some amazing work and they're all

Affordable for anyones income... Very inspiring art....this 18 year old artist dropped her art off yesterday... It was a style of painting I never seen before...this will be her first show ever so that moved my soul in a special way.

What is it that will make this show stand out from the rest that we may see in other galleries around Castlebery Hill?

City of Ink art shows feel like a family gathering... There is no dress code and everyone is welcomed to come and join us...we also welcome first time artist and art that usually can't be seen in other Castleberry hill galleries... We try to walk our own path so our art show are different from the rest...Sophie & Corey got all the sponsors for this show.... Kidrobot is one of the sponsors so we will have gifts for the first people who show up at 7pm

The whole city seems to love and support art shows at City of Ink, will there be another coming in the near future?

We try to do art show every 2 months....from solo shows to group & theme show..if your an artist and want to do an art show at COI just call 404-525-4465 1pm-10pm

I know that questions are limiting, so if there was anything else you'd like to let the people know about the POPULAR show or City of Ink....What would that be?

We will be filming all week at City of Ink to show what we go thru everyday and how hard it is to do these art events... Working with other artists us very hard work...but at the end of the day the drama behind the scenes are all worth it....this show will be amazing, food, drinks, music from the DJ, give aways, and affordable art work for sale...this is only one City of Ink... And we set trends never follow them... Inspire your City

I can't even begin to tell you all how excited I am about this show! Even if I tried I wouldn't be able to express the amount of talent and dope work that will be involved. It's simply something that you will have to experience yourself!

Cool Cinema is one dope ass event.

The concept came about around two years ago from a local development company called The ComeUp Kids.

This event has a great, warm crowd, STRONG drinks, great networking opportunities and of course a dope movie.

Films shown from the past include Purple Rain, AND House Party.

TONIGHT: they will be showing CLUELESS! This event will be hosted by the storming brand based out of ATLANTA Siditty Misses. I actually had the opportunity to interview the Creative Director of the line about the event, check it out!

So, What’s the purpose of Cool Cinema?

Its a social event where people can cool and watch cinema- while drinking ALL they can. Sounds good to me. Right?

Hell YEAH! What shall the people expect?

To have a good good time, watch a dope movie with sickening 90's fashion, have some drinks, perhaps a bit of flirting, See a sneak peak of our spring accessory collection and TO GET A FREE GIFT WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

The Fashion World Mourns: RIP McQueen

As Fashion Week kicks off today in NYC....tragic news hit the fashion world. It has been officially announced that one of the most amazing designers of our time [Lee Alexander McQueen] has committed suicide and was found dead today.

Not only was McQueen a spectacular high fashion designer, but he also entered the realm of us "normals" by designing a line for Target. It included very cute, yet affordable designs for the average-budgeted fashionista.

McQueen was also a favorite designer of the one and only Lady Gaga, recently designing the majority of her most controversial/talked about outfits for award shows & videos. Including the most recent "Bad Romance" video in which she wore his new 10 Inch Stilettos.

I can't even type much....I'm still in shock right now...Mourning with the rest of the fashion world. I guess we never know what is truly going on behind a beautiful mind.
