One day as I was on Facebook, a video was posted on my page...
It was from the homie "Mike Designs"...our ATL favorite/B$B photographer and obviously videographer!
I watched the video and it's actually a really cute little love story, but i was more amazed at how good the video actually looked and as I was watching I was trying to figure out how each scene was shot, while recognizing the local places throughout atlanta that you can catch in the film!
Also saw my homegirl @emiayebay with the quick cameo in the party scene!
Here's the video....you MUST check it out. It's a short film, won't take up too much of your time =]

I got the chance to do a quick interview with Mike about the film... check it out:
What inspired the story for the film?
-The song the movie is filmed to was actually the song that inspired It. “Rise” by Josh Rouse. It was odd the first time I heard the song I instantly got the plot in my head. I had never had a thought strike me with such clarity before, so I felt I owed it to myself to film it.
What role did you play in the making of the film?
-I wrote and directed the film.
How long did it take to shoot it and put everything together?
-We shot it over 3 days, and since I still had school to do after we finished shooting... It took me about 2 months to finish editing.
How did you come across the actors and actresses used in this?
-The excellent cast in the film are friends of mikedesigns that we had worked with before.
What is your favorite part of the short film?
- it has to be the scooter scene, it was a lot of fun to shoot!
Favorite part or fun time while shooting the film?
-My favorite part actually wasn’t film. After the party scene was shot we were dumping the cards from the camera and had about 20 minutes of down time where the actors and the production crew really bonded.
Cute! I love it! I hope you all enjoyed the film as much as I did! Now you know to look to mike for even bigger things coming soon I'm sure. follow him on twitter @mikedesignsatl & if you need photography or video done, check out his website --> http://mdsgstudios.com/
